Rules for using Ironside.
Last updated: June 2026
By downloading, installing, or using Ironside ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The App is developed and operated by Mitchell Seddon Henderson ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in New Zealand. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. This licence does not include any right to: modify, copy, or create derivative works; distribute, sell, or sublicence the App; reverse-engineer or decompile the App; or remove any proprietary notices or branding.
Ironside is free to download. You can use the full app for your first 10 logged workouts or 30 days from first launch, whichever comes first. After the trial, a one-time in-app purchase ("Ironside Full Unlock") is required to continue using the app. Your workout history remains viewable read-only and data export remains available without purchase.
The App also offers a voluntary tip jar. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms. Prices are displayed in your local currency at checkout and are set by Apple based on your region.
Ironside Full Unlock is a non-consumable in-app purchase: once purchased, it is permanently unlocked for your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID using the Restore Purchases function in the App.
Tip jar purchases are consumable and non-refundable by us. For all refund requests, contact Apple Support — Apple is the merchant of record and manages all billing disputes.
Ironside is a fitness tracking tool for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the App — including AI coaching responses, workout suggestions, calculated estimates, or progression recommendations — constitutes medical advice, dietetic advice, physiotherapy, or any other professional health service.
Before beginning any new exercise programme or making significant changes to your training, consult a qualified health professional, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or other health concern. By using the App you accept all risk associated with your exercise and training decisions.
You agree not to use the App to:

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental damages. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The App, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Mitchell Seddon Henderson and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.
Your workout data is yours. We do not claim ownership of the data you log or import into the App.
We may update the App and these terms at any time. Material changes to the terms will be communicated via an update to this page and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised terms.
We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice for significant changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
