How to Import Your Hevy Data Into Ironside

Bring your full Hevy history across in about five minutes — CSV out of Hevy, CSV into Ironside.

To move your workout history from Hevy to Ironside, export a CSV from Hevy, then open Ironside → You → Settings → My Data → Import CSV and select the file. Every workout, exercise, set, rep, and weight carries over, and your PR, volume, and 1RM charts recompute automatically on your device.

Step 1 — Export your CSV from Hevy

  1. Open the Hevy app (or hevy.com on the web).
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Export Data and save the CSV file to Files or iCloud Drive.

Step 2 — Import into Ironside

  1. Open Ironside and go to the You tab.
  2. Tap Settings → My Data → Import CSV.
  3. Choose the Hevy CSV. You can also import during onboarding.

Heads up: importing replaces your existing local history in Ironside. Export first (My Data → Export CSV) if you've already logged workouts you want to keep.

What carries over

  • Workouts — every session with its date.
  • Exercises — matched to Ironside's library.
  • Sets, reps, and weights — your full set-by-set log.

PRs and estimated 1RM history are recalculated from your sets, so your progress graphs pick up where Hevy left off. Nothing is uploaded — the import runs entirely on your device.
